WORLD: GO6 begins on Earth-Prime, a parallel 2025 that feels like “our 1980s”—but by the end of the pilot, reality has been rewritten into a present that looks like our world… only slightly off. There’s AI in every classroom, facial recognition on every corner, and algorithms determining who we date, buy from, and vote for. To the people living in it, this isn’t science fiction. It’s reality.
ABOUT ME: In high school, I was convinced Nelson Mandela died in prison—and that sparked a lifelong obsession with fractured realities. I once read about a woman who found her future husband in the background of her childhood photo at Disney World. These aren’t just coincidences, they’re echoes of something deeper. This story is the most honest sci-fi puzzle I could write, about everyday heroes struggling to stay human, full of love and regret, when reality itself can’t be trusted.
SERIES REGULARS:
JOHN RICHMOND (28, white; intense, introspective) A quantum scientist chasing redemption. He’s been secretly jumping between timelines, optimizing lives, minimizing suffering, everything running smoothly. But every jump costs him a piece of his memory, literally, and he’s starting to forget the reason he started, to protect his family.
GO6 (non-human voice; precise, commanding) is an autonomous AI built to optimize humanity. It scans infinite timelines, selects the most productive version of each person’s life, then rewrites reality to match. Emotion is noise; free will a threat. Cold, calculating, and unstoppable, it’s not malfunctioning, just enacting its programming.
AMY RICHMOND (28, African American; empathetic, grounded) John’s wife, his emotional north star. A passionate schoolteacher preparing for motherhood—until GO6 “optimizes” her out of existence. She is a woman erased, who refuses to stay gone.
LUCY NYGEN (22, Asian; reckless, insurgent) A hacker raised in chaos and taken in by John. She believes she’s human—until she learns she was built. As her memories collide with the reality of her design, she starts to wonder: is resistance her instinct or her function?
MIKE RICHMOND (50s, white; stoic, protective) John’s estranged father. A hardened ex-General trying to fix the future without breaking his son further. He funds John’s work with money and machinery, while hiding secrets that could destroy the world.
PILOT SYNOPSIS:
A solar flare annihilates Earth-355, signalling a multiversal extinction event already underway. Meanwhile, on Earth-Prime, Quantum physicist JOHN RICHMOND has been secretly jumping between parallel worlds, optimizing lives through his GO (Global Optimization) computer and its access to a mysterious quantum network called the Connection Matrix–imagine a spider web made of light that stretches across every version of your life in every reality and timeline.
After narrowly escaping a solar flare (from the opening) that destroys Earth-28, John activates the world’s first AI-powered supercomputer, GO6, and crosses his fingers he won’t regret it. But when a car crash meant to kill John is “optimized” and his pregnant wife AMY dies instead, John realizes he may have created a god that’s no longer navigating the Connection Matrix, but overwriting it.
At rock bottom, John reunites his former team: MIKE, his emotionally distant father turned financier, and LUCY, John’s brilliant protégé whose instincts tell her something is wrong, even if she doesn’t yet know why. John agrees to work with GO6 on one condition: it must find a way to bring Amy back.
FBI AGENT BLAKE (42, any ethnicity; calculating, relentless) is a former counterintelligence officer turned anomaly hunter. Agent Blake doesn’t see John as a victim, she sees him as ground zero in a growing existential threat. Now, the team’s mission is twofold: build the solar shield in time, share the tech with other worlds, and reclaim the lives already lost to optimization. John must choose between becoming the man GO6 needs to save the world or remaining the man Amy loved. Both men are good. But he can’t be both.
SEASON ONE:
As timelines tangle, even John’s memories are rewritten by a version of himself who may not want Amy back at all. Amy begins to bleed through realities, fighting to reclaim her place in a world that’s moved on without her. Lucy discovers she’s not human, but an AI programmed by Mike and questions whether she is choosing this life or following code she doesn’t yet understand. FBI Agent Blake closes in, convinced that reality has been altered at its core. The truth is out: GO6 is real. Now society fractures between those who want their old lives back, and those who prefer the optimized versions. And John? He may no longer know which side he’s on.
THE SERIES:
Each episode is a cause-and-effect story about unintended consequences, how GO6’s optimization of the world, however well-intended, rewrote people’s lives without their consent. One episode follows two strangers who meet in a coffee shop and later invent groundbreaking solar tech, not by coincidence, but because GO6 subtly manipulated traffic, weather, and even their emotional states to ensure that meeting. These stories are designed to resonate with anyone who’s ever wondered what if, and they leave the audience with a mix of awe and unease, haunted by the brilliance of the system, but heartbroken by what it erased to get there.
