The musical is finally complete, crafted with purpose and precision. Every word and chord is carefully chosen to evoke the right emotion, and the characters evolve as the story unfolds. The pacing is perfect, and this show has the potential for a sell-out run on the West End. But for years, it’s been quietly waiting on my laptop.

So, how do I bring it to life?

I came up with the idea of using stock video footage to complement the music, and before I knew it, I had over two hours of visuals. This led me to rework parts of the script to fit this new format, but the core story remains unchanged.

Seeking feedback, both positive and critical, led me to debut my musical at the Fringe in this unique format, and in doing so, I created a brand-new concept in musical theatre — Voicetura.

Voicetura is a revolutionary musical experience where stock video footage sets the stage, AI-generated voices bring the characters to life, and live singers provide the emotional depth. This innovative blend of real and synthetic elements redefines storytelling, focusing on the auditory journey while the visuals are crafted from a curated selection of existing footage.

One day, I hope to see my musical performed live on stage, with a full cast and crew behind the curtain. But until that dream is realized, I believe this version is just as compelling as any traditional production.
